Café Kvika offers both indoor and outdoor seating, with the outdoor terrace providing stunning views of the lagoon and Lake Mývatn. On sunny days, there’s nothing better than enjoying your meal or coffee surrounded by the beauty of the Icelandic landscape.
Our Recommendations
We recommend trying the local ice cream, Skútaís, or our traditional geyser bread with smoked Arctic char — a must-taste in the Lake Mývatn area. The bread is baked in geothermal steam underground for 24 hours, a tradition locals have kept for generations.
