Booking & Tickets

  • Do I need to book a ticket?

    We always recommend booking in advance to secure a spot and we can always change the time or date if needed.


    Walk-ins are welcome as long as we have lockers available.

  • I have booked a ticket at 14:00, can I arrive at 13:00?

    If you book at 14:00, you can arrive between 14:00 and 14:30. If you know you will be late or early, please give us a call or send an email to make the modification.

  • We are a group of people, do we need to pre-book?

    Yes, if your group has 10 or more people, we kindly ask you to book in advance here on our website.

  • What is your cancellation policy?

    • Cancellation made with more than 72 hours’ notice: 100% is refunded. 
    • Cancellation made with 24-72 hours’ notice: 50% is refunded. 
    • Cancellation made with less than 24 hours’ notice: 10% is refunded .

Experience & Facilities

  • How does the beer/wine bracelet work?

    You buy the bracelet at the entrance (max 3 beers or 2 glasses of wine) and the staff member who is working outside will bring your drink. You can also use your phone, your card or your watch at the bar.



  • What is the temperature of the water?

    The water is well suited for bathing with temperatures ranging from 36-40C°.

  • Do I need to take a shower before I enter the lagoon?

    Yes, we kindly ask everybody to shower before they go in to the lagoon. The showers are located inside the changing rooms, there you will find soap, shampoo and a conditioner.

  • How deep is the lagoon?

    The deepest part is 1.3 m, average is ca. 1.2 m.

  • How long can I stay in the lagoon?

    You can stay as long as you want within opening hours. Most people spend around 90 minutes in total.

  • Do I need to rent a locker?

    No, it is included in the price. You get a coin for the lockers at the reception when you pay for your entrance.

  • Do you have private showers?

    Yes, we have two private showers in each changing room.

  • Can I stay in the lagoon until closing time?

    Guests can enjoy the baths until 21:40 in the wintertime and 22:40 in the summertime. Everyone has to leave the building before closing time.

  • Are children welcome?

    Yes, all children are welcome. There is no entrance fee for children 12 years and younger.

  • Is the place wheelchair accessible?

    The lagoon is accessible for wheelchairs and we offer a wheelchair from the shower to the lagoon if you do not want to use your own. Please contact info@jardbodin.is for more information.
